“The Cyprus National Recovery and Resilience Plan is the compass for the Cyprus exit from the covid-19 pandemic crisis and the modernization of its economy. The said plan includes a combination of investments and structural reforms, aiming to address the resilience and sustainability of Cyprus’ economy, with special emphasis to green transition, digital transformation and social cohesion. Indeed structural changes should be in the center of all european efforts for a sustainable future.
At the same time, Cyprus strongly supports the current negotiations by the Czech Republic for the revision of the RRF in order to cope with the current challenges faced by EU and the globe. In this context, we welcome all efforts towards the implementation of the REPowerEU plan, which should take into account the particularities and challenges faced by each EU member state”
