“Women play a fundamental role in diplomacy as in all political and social aspects. I am one of the 8 women MPs. I know the number of women at the House of Representatives is low but we really need to reflect and realize how much was done before we get here today, but also how much more needs to be done for women to gain the place they deserve in all areas of decision-making centers.”
It was an honour to address today’s event titled “The gender of diplomacy”, on behalf of the President of HoR, Annita Demetriou, organized by @aipfecyprus and @ukincyprus at the House of the Citizen.
